February 2018 Wrap-Up

Life in February:

February was a pretty good month, even though it flew by quickly! I went to a screening of Love, Simon, which was honestly the highlight of the month. The movie was SO GOOD and I can’t wait for so many people to see it. I’m so excited that there’s so much buzz around it. I also went to a trivia night with a couple of coworkers and played the hardest rounds of trivia I’ve ever encountered. It was enough to make my brain hurt, but it was still a good time. And at the end of the month, one of my friends came to visit and we had a blast. We celebrated her birthday by going to our favorite local pizza place, wandering around Barnes and Noble, and eating macarons.

I finished my Gilmore Girls rewatch and even braved the revival. There are parts of the revival that I actually really appreciate, but man are some aspects so incredibly disappointing. I also watched the new Queer Eye on Netflix, which was so much better and heartwarming than I had ever anticipated!

I read 8 books in February. Not nearly as much as I did in January, but still not bad!

  1. I didn’t get to make it to either of the preview screening of Love, Simon that happened over here and I am so bummed out! But hopefully I can make it to one of the first screenings when it officially releases. I feel like this movie has come up so quickly! I really hope that everyone goes and sees it and loves it so we get more movies like it.

Trivia is always a hit or miss with me. Sometimes I am really good at it, and then other times my brain freezes and forgets everything it knows, haha.

Right books in a month is fantastic! Good job 😀
