Sunday-Wrap-up-2

My Week

I feel my week was more exciting than this seems, because I can’t remember anything any particular. I suppose the New Year is exciting? I mean, it is, but I don’t really celebrate New Year’s Eve in any particular way. I guess I have a few goals–some fun, some serious–for the year, so it’s nice to be passionate about them. Um, yeah. Wow, I had a really uneventful week.

On Book Blog Bake

On Monday I shared my December wrap-up.
My Top Ten Tuesday was all about my favorite books I read in 2013.
Wednesday I shared the book challenges I’m participating in this year.
Thursday I reviewed the audiobook for Ready Player One by Ernest Cline.
Friday I reviewed Just One Day by Gayle Forman.
Saturday I talked about goals & resolutions.

The New Year’s Writing Resolution You Can Actually Keep @ Copyblogger

I really loved this. Despite the fact I managed to write a 75K first draft of a novel in the Fall of 2013, writing consistently is something I struggle with. I think I’m definitely going to try and use this method in January.

15 Fresh Starts for the New Year @ Yes and Yes

I love this completely do-able list. I know I plan on cleaning out my car, updating my resume, etc. within the month. These just sound pretty simple but all worth doing to get the new year started off on the right foot.

Why I Read YA(and How it’s Changed My Life) @ The Book Addict’s Guide

I completely loved Brittany’s post on why she reads YA and completely agree with everything she said. Definitely worth a read!

Confession: I’m Addicted to Novellas @ Another Novel Read

I love reading Kelley’s post about why she loves novellas–and also got a few recommendations!(And maybe a few to stay away from). I’ve been putting off reading novellas, but one of my goals for 2014 is to read a few, just to see if I would like them.

10 Things I Never Want to Read Again @ Notebook Sisters

Yup. There’s really no more to say about this one, except this post nailed it!

  1. WOO Thanks so much for sharing my link 😀
I can’t wait to hear what you think of Wild Awake and 45 Pounds (More or Less)! Such good books from 2013, IMO! 🙂
