Posted June 30, 2013 by Stormy in Books / 5 Comments

Monday I reviewed The Miseducation of Cameron Post(4/5 cupcakes).
My Top Ten Tuesday was my top ten books read so far in 2013. Luckily, I have exactly 10 5-star reads so far.
Wednesday I mixed it up a little and unveiled a new feature: If TV Characters Read YA. First up was Rory(of Gilmore Girls)’ YA reading list.
Thursday I reviewed Moonglass by Jessi Kirby. Friday I began to share some of my personal perspective on YA fiction.

Why I’m Still Not on Board with New Adult @ A Reader of Fictions
Christina’s post really highlights a lot of my thoughts about NA so far. NA is still so new & I think there needs to be a lot of conversation about it.

I Just Have to Shake My Head Sometimes @ The Perpetual Page-Turner
Jamie clearly channels my inner rage in this post about those poor, misguided souls who think it’s okay to start a 30-minute conversation with someone when they’re clearly READING.

Bookish Thoughts: A Blog Reader’s Confessions @ A Bookish Heart
Asti shares her blog-reading habits, and I have to admit the way she manages the blog she reads is pretty similar to my system for reading blogs.

Book Nerd Problems #13: Book Borrowing Etiquette @ Snuggly Oranges
Debby wrote a fantastic post that is basically a PSA about what TO and what NOT to do when borrowing books. Book borrowers of the world–you should listen to her, she’s spot on!

Good job on sticking to your buying ban, and congrats on winning some new books! They sound interesting! Ooh, and I look forward to seeing your review of Ari & Dante. I’ve heard so many good things about that book and it’s on my wish-list, so each positive review I read makes me more excited to pick it up. Thanks for linking to me 🙂

Well, my buying ban didn’t last long, since Hastings was having an epic sale, but I DID control myself for a week(that counts for something, right? Haha). And Aristotle and Dante was AMAZING. I’ve written my review, and it’s pretty much just gushing. It’s *probably* the best/my favorite book I’ve read this year so far(It’s a toss up between that and Scarlet).

Haha, well I can say mine didn’t last long(but the bookstore was having an EPIC sale. So now I’m back on my buy ban).
