Sunday-Wrap-up-2

Onbookblogbake

Monday I posted a review for Confessions of an Almost-Girlfriend.
Tuesday I did a (slightly late) May recap!
Wednesday I posted a review for Gone by Michael Grant.
Thursday I posted a (perhaps overlong) discussion about YA, Romance, and Growing Up.
I finished the week on Friday by posting a review of Charm & Strange by Stephanie Kuehn.

I slacked off on this section a little this week. . . nonetheless, here are a few(just slightly fewer than normal) fantastic posts this week.

Why John Green isn’t All That: A Musing @ Book Brats
I like John Green. I’ve read two of his books and I think he’s a better-than-average writer, but I agree with this post so much. There’s definitely more to that category of books than just John Green’s. And I like the list of other books to check out(some of which I’ve read, most of which I haven’t).

Remember last week when I put myself on a book buying ban? That sounded great. . . until I was gifted some book-store giftcards. SO, while this didn’t help my attempt to not put any books on my shelf, at the very least at least I didn’t spend my own money on them? And hey, new shiny books!

Let’s Explore Diabetes With Owls by David Sedaris(won on Goodreads)
Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe (gift)
Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi
The Miseducation of Cameron Post by Emily Danforth
Amy and Roger’s Epic Detour(gift)
Paper Towns by John Green (RAK gift–thank you Nikki!)
