Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Series I’d Like to Start

Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday, my favorite bookish meme, is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. This week’s topic could have gotten out of hand if I hadn’t limited myself to ten, because there’s a lot of series I’d like to start but haven’t yet.

1. The Legend series by Marie Lu

2. Newsoul series by Jodi Meadows

I have Incarnate on my Kindle–bought it when it was a kindle daily deal–but I haven’t read it yet!

3. Everneath by Brodi Ashton

Another series that I actually own the first book, but haven’t read it yet.

Raven Boys

4. The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvatar

Shadow and Bone

5.Shadow & Bone(The Grisha series) by Leigh Bardugo

6. Taken(because it’s not out yet!) by Erin Bowman

7.Crewel by Jennifer Alban

8. Everlost(Skinjacker series) by Neal Shusterman

9. Unspoken by Sarah Rees Brennan

Blood Red Road

10. Blood Red Road by Moira Young

This must be the shortest TTT post I’ve ever written–normally I like to explain why I picked what I did, but since I haven’t read these books yet, it makes that a little more difficult! Guess today’s will just be a straight-forward list.

  1. I’m a Series Sampler myself. I dabble. I read one book in a series and then walk away. Then try another series. Walk away. And another series. Odd, I think.

  2. Legend is so amazing! You’ll love the main characters. They’re so likeable, and they’re prodigies (hence the next books title). Shadow and Bone was pretty awesome too.

I’ve been seeing good things about Everneath, I think I need to check that out!
I wasn’t impressed with The Raven Boys, it got kind of boring really fast for me. I had to force myself to read it, honestly.

I need to read Legend, Incarnate, and Unspoken also. Blood Red Road was FANTASTIC (5 stars), and Shadow and Bone was really good as well.

  5. Funny enough, I actually own at least one book in most of these series, but I haven’t read any of them but the first two in the Everlost series. *Sigh* So many books, so little time!

Glad to have found you via TTT 🙂

    • Stopping at ten was SO HARD. That’s not normally a problem I have with TTT(it generally takes me a bit of thinking to get #9 & #10), but this one was quite a challenge.

      • I know what you mean… I was happily adding series, when all of a sudden I realized I was on number 9. How on earth am I to pick just two out of all the rest? Took me nearly half an hour to decide which ones to put on.
